    • Independence Day: July 4, 2013

       

      The DDTP Administrative Office, CTAP Service Centers, and Contact Center will be closed Thursday, July 4, 2013 in observance of Independence Day and will resume normal business hours on Friday, July 5, 2013. 

       

    • Speech-to-Speech program overview and training DVD

    • Wireless Equipment now available to qualified Californians
      The DDTP’s California Telephone Access Program (CTAP) now offers the Blackberry—a smartphone for texting and messaging, to Californians who are CTAP-certified as deaf, severely hard of hearing, or speech-disabled and the Jitterbug—an amplified cellphone with big buttons, to Californians who are CTAP-certified as blind or low vision, hard of hearing, cognitively-disabled, or mobility-disabled at no cost.       To be eligible for wireless equipment, a customer must be new to the Program or CTAP-certified and have not yet received any CTAP equipment, excluding accessories. Customers who have already received CTAP equipment are not eligible to apply for wireless equipment.
