DDTP Advisory Committees

The Advisory Committees provide recommendations to the CPUC and the State of California regarding the development, implementation, and administration of the Deaf and Disabled Telecommunications Program (DDTP). The Committees also provide invaluable input regarding the telecommunication needs of consumer groups with functional limitations of hearing, vision, movement, manipulation, speech, cognition, and interpretation of information as users of the DDTP. The administrative and advisory committee meetings are held once a month and are open to the public. Please refer to the Committee Calendar for meeting dates.

The DDTP office coordinates sign language interpreting and real-time captioning for all committee meetings. Arrangements for re-voicers and Braille materials may be made by contacting the Committee Coordinator five days in advance. If you have any other needs for meeting communication, please advise the Committee Coordinator, Karen Evangelista at (510) 302-1100, Ext. 110 or TTY: (510) 302-1118.
